Jedidiah did an awesome job. Excellent craftsmanship, pointing out how the original construction caused water incursion leading to the rot that needed repair. I would definitely recommend his work

We hired Bartreau Construction to do a bathroom vanity and repair some drywall. They were very professional, reasonably priced and timely on the repair. We were very pleased with the level of work completed and will definitely give them a call again to help with projects around our house. Highly recommend them.

I've used Jed for two major projects now. One was turning an old outside closet into a nice office and another was a rather large exterior paint job of my house. He is knowledgeable, fair, kind and does good work. I would absolutely recommend him and will continue to use him as I upgrade my house!

Jedidiah just finished installing a new tub and surround in our main bathroom. The work is quality and was done in the time frame given, plus it looks great. It's not very often that you get this level of professionalism combined with friendliness and consideration.

After a couple years of searching for a contractor that would even give us a quote, unfortunately we live in a smaller city, Jed came down gave us a good estimate which was more then some would even do, we went with him and couldn't have been happier with the work he did. Had the kitchen and two bathrooms remodeled. Will definitely use him again if more projects come up down the road!

It was great working with Richard as our architect. Of those we met with, he was the only one to spend the time to really ask about how we intended to use the space. We were very pleased each and every time: he has a terrific sense of "space", and a vision of the project that we did not always have. His attention to detail was extraordinary. He listened at great length to what we envisioned as the end result of each project, then came up with very enlightened solutions. He managed to maintain the character of our house, but transformed it into a much more livable space. He was very realistic about the costs involved in the projects, and had a good handle on what we should expect. He was a great presenter for the Board approvals that we needed, and he did all of the municipal filings that we needed. During the project's execution, he worked with the crew that did the building to iron out any problems that arose. His is a very easy temperament, and he was very easy for them to get a hold of. He takes great pride in his projects. What more could you ask for!?

Jed is fantastic! He remodeled my bathroom and was both honest and incredibly professional. He listened to my ideas and even helped me save money by suggesting more cost-effective solutions. The result was so impressive that I'm having him remodel my other bathroom next, and he'll be my go-to for all my future projects.

We recently hired Jed to convert the bathtub/shower in our rental to a walk-in shower for a tenant who has mobility challenges. Jed clearly has experience in that area and had many very helpful suggestions. Jed and the sub-contractors he used were very polite and professional, and we ended up with a wonderful bathroom that was perfect for what we needed. I couldn’t be more pleased. The feedback from the tenant was: I just had the best shower I’ve had in a very, very long time. I love how safe I feel in it and there is room to stretch my legs. It is so easy to get in and out with the low threshold and grab bars, and I am very grateful. I felt that we were treated honestly and fairly, and I would not hesitate to use Jed again. I highly recommend him.

Jed Bartreau did an excellent job installing my air conditioner. My apartment is pretty crowded, so the job was difficult and cumbersome, but Jed didn't complain at all. He just pushed through, and did a quality job. Furthermore, his rates are so completely reasonable that I can't say enough good things about Jed and his work. I would encourage anyone who needs a handyman to hire Jed Bartreau. You won't be disappointed!!!
